Excellent Food Presentation #4

The following photos are from L in BC.

Both photos depict the 100 mile diet. In this case, it's only one mile - meaning that everything in the meal has been grown, prepared or caught within a one mile radius.

Chicken, buns, salad, corn, and roasted zucchini...

salmon, roasted potatoes, onions and carrots, sauteed brussel sprouts and fresh cucumber and tomatoes.

Sports #1

Believe it or not, these came out of one cupboard.

These were found in the hall. Some of the owners of these shoes don't live here anymore. It's a repository of running shoes.

A portrait of Alf.

The same portrait.

A close-up view.

All photos above were taken by A in England with the following quip:
"Alf - he's been in 3 different homes with me and 1 of our siblings.  My flatmate made him his own shelf because the bottom one was too cluttered, so he made another shelf just for Alf!"

Fictional Character #3

Here she is, Lucy Maud Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables.

Good thing she's wearing her hat. I guess she's taking a stroll through the flower garden.

And here's little Anne looking like she is on her own private island.
